About these publications

The Management Strategies in Herpes series of publications, the Herpes supplements, and the management guidelines they contain are primarily for healthcare professionals. Each publication was developed from an IHMF® workshop and the guidelines were ratified at the following Annual Meeting of the IHMF®. These publications and their management guidelines represent the consolidated views of the experts who attended both the Workshop and the Annual Meeting.

An addition to some of the earlier publications listed is the expert update. Written by experts, these updates highlight new developments that have occurred since first publication. Where available, expert updates must be read in conjunction with the full publication.

These publications reflect clinical practice at the time they were published and are not full reviews of the disease area.

See Management Guidelines for an overview of key issues that are discussed more fully in the monographs.
