IHMF® Board Profile
Norwegian Herpes Management Forum (NHMF)

Welcome

Welcome to the information page for Norway. Here you can find information about the Norwegian Herpes Management Forum (NHMF).

The NHMF was established to improve the awareness, understanding, counselling and management of infections caused by herpesviruses. The NHMF is steered by a board of five national opinion leaders. The main activity is to arrange a national yearly meeting to update medical professionals in all aspects of knowledge and medical management of herpesvirus infections especially herpes simplex virus, varicella zoster virus and cytomegalovirus infections, but also Epstein-Barr virus, and human herpesvirus type 6, type 7 and type 8.

Meetings

The NHMF has not held regular meetings during the last couple of years. It recommends visiting Ask the Expert where people can get valuable information on herpes infections.

Delegates from Norway have taken part in all the IHMF annual meetings arranged.
