Each presentation also has a Word^Ž file containing explanatory lecture notes. We strongly recommend that presentations are always viewed in conjunction with their lecture notes. All slides and notes are numbered for easy reference and use.

Interrupting the Transmission of Genital Herpes

This slide kit, aimed primarily at clinicians, explains the importance of asymptomatic HSV shedding and how the transmission of genital HSV-2 infection may be interrupted with suppressive antiviral therapy. Methods of reducing/preventing transmission to HSV-seronegative partners are identified and potential future initiatives for halting the spread of HSV are described.

We strongly recommend that the lecture is viewed in conjunction with the lecture notes.
